Keith Wicks' wonderfully mysterious new painting "Dinner with Hopper" is an ode to the illustrator Edward Hopper and his muses. As seen though the eyes of the artist, Keith says he was transfixed by the concept that Hopper's community of lonely characters seem trapped in a web of structure and color. Keith, very much wanting to be amongst them, has painted himself into the mysterious scene, bringing them all together in an imaginary dinner with Hopper himself, at the head of the table. If only we to could climb inside this painting... what stories would we hear that were so intriguing that they inspired an artist to capture them for eternity in stokes of color and structure - not unlike Keith.
